Each Pot is individually distressed using old clay and powdered moss is rubbed into the porous surface. The pots are then cured in acres of Chinese farmland where the moss begins to grow and the pots take on their characteristic antiqued and naturally weather appearance. The stone finishes, the colour, natural moss, and aging will vary from pot to pot. Truly wabi-sabi in nature, they are praised for their imperfections and wanted for their imperfectly aged appearance.
