Tobacco Bark Fragrance description:  Dark rum, incense, sweet woody tobacco, citrus, clove & vanilla.  A delectable, warm fragrance sure to charm everyone.

Envisioning a rugged, hardy, and bold candle, we created our Blacksmith Collection that looks perfect in every home, from contemporary style to farmhouse decor. Our Blacksmith Forged Square Footed Bowl candles are handsome and weighty forged iron bowls with four feet. They have a blackened, textured finish and a coordinating foiled dustcover. The Blacksmith Forged Square Footed Bowl is six and a half inches square by three inches tall and has four wicks. This candle is hand poured in Georgia, by our experienced candle makers, with thirty ounces of a clean burning, United States grown, fragranced soy wax blend with a high-quality fragrance compound oil.

Himalayan Candles makes beautifully fragranced candles in reusable original containers. Their candles are poured using artisan techniques with a natural soy wax blend and high quality essential and fragrance oils. They will burn exceptionally well... a clean even burn with minimal sooting, leaving little to no residue and a lingering fragrance.

All Himalayan Candles are handmade and packaged at their studio in Decatur, Georgia. They offer a competitively paid, pleasant and flexible working environment to our candle makers, packers and shipping staff. They also work directly with small scale manufactures in northern India and source our containers directly. They only work with factories that have transparent and fair working conditions for their staff.

The company was started in 2004 by Julia Leaphart in her kitchen. It was founded as a way for her to connect with a childhood spent in a small town in the foot hills of the Himalayas and a need to earn a living for herself and her young daughter. She began pouring candles into wooden containers bought from India and selling them at local antique shows and craft fairs. The company grew from there as it found its niche selling high quality artisan candles.
